Covid Safety

As a result of the 2020 Covid Pandemic, we have implemented many new regulations into our services to ensure that we are not putting ourselves or our customers at risk when repairing your dents.

We use appropriate PPE including gloves and face masks when we are indoors repairing dents, and if we are outdoors in an open space we will still do so if requested by the customer as a preference.

We continue to practise social distancing as per the government guidelines (2M), and will not ever put you in harms way by coming too close.

If any of the Axy Dent team are showing any symptoms of Covid-19 or general illness, they are isolating and will not be coming to work or putting anyone at risk.

All of us take regular lateral flow tests, to make sure that we are testing negative when carrying out our daily duties.

If any of our customers have got any questions, or specific requests regarding Covid-19 safety and social distancing, please do not hesitate to contact us in advance and we are more than happy to cater to any specific needs or requirements to make you feel as comfortable and safe as possible.

Axy Dent’s latest recruit!

We are thrilled to announce that Harvey Stevens is now a fully qualified member of the Axy-Dent team! Starting towards the end of 2020, he has been working extremely hard to complete his training and become an exceptional handyman in the world of PDR, keeping up with the world-class standards that Axy-Dent deliver. Under the watchful eye of his own Dad – Stuart – he has managed to not only complete his training quickly but learn the art form efficiently and attentively, making him the perfect addition to the team.

Since starting, Harvey has been travelling around the South-East and repairing dents for a wide variety of clients. This includes car dealerships of varied franchise, whereby he has been completing many dents at a time to get the practise in.

He has received exceptional reviews so far, with a sales-person at Farnborough Audi stating:

“I rang Axy-Dent extremely last minute! I had a vehicle that was about to be collected by a customer, when I realised there was a dent in the door. Harvey came to the rescue and repaired the dent extremely quickly and completely flawlessly, to the point where I could not remember which side the dent was even on!”

With excellent feedback like that so early on, it is clear that Harvey has exceeded all expectations and is going to be a key asset to the business moving forward.

Stuart and Connor are both thrilled to take Harvey on and expand the team whilst keeping the family-nature of the business alive. Maintaining excellent working relationships is something that Axy-Dent have always taken pride on, and what better way to do so than to hire take your own son on board!

In 2021, we decided it was time to take some steps towards a greener future. The environment and sustainability are hugely important to all of us as a team, and with the miles that we travel daily in our Axy Dent van to create a convenient service, for our customers, the emissions are of course a detriment to the environment. The services that the South East Woodland Project provide seemed the perfect opportunity for us to do better.

What The South-East Woodland Project are doing is planting as many trees as possible for people who're passionate about positively impacting their carbon footprint. They offer bespoke plans that can facilitate a wide range of needs, whether that be planting for offsetting purposes or simply wanting to help plant trees for the environment. As a result of the collaboration, we are thrilled to announce that we have now successfully planted 4 trees at their site in Reading. They will grow to offset a years’ worth of carbon emissions from our company van!

We would like to take the time to give a huge thanks to the South East Woodland Project for their amazing work and allowing us all at Axy-Dent to have a much greener future.
